YG Entertainment announced on Wednesday that Blackpink will be live in Tokyo and Osaka.
The company uploaded a poster adding the two cities to its ongoing international tour. The band will perform two concerts at the Tokyo Dome on April 8-9 and at the Kyocera Dome on June 3-4.
This expands the Asian tour to a total of 11 cities and 18 concerts. The quartet will perform in Japan for the first time in three years since their “In Your Area” performance, which attracted an estimated 205,000 concertgoers.
Blackpink kicked off their North American tour in October and landed in Europe on November 30. Starting next year, it will visit fans in Asia and Oceania on its largest ever tour.
His second full-length album, Born Pink, was released in the US on Tuesday, making it one of Billboard’s top 50 albums of 2022. It’s the only K-pop album on the list.
