BTS J-Hope performs in “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’

BTS J-Hope will appear on ABC’s annual New Year’s Eve special “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” on Dec. 31, 2022.

The singer will perform three songs in Times Square, including his solo “=” (equal sign) (2022), “Chicken Noodle Soup” (2019) and a holiday remix of BTS’s mega-hit song “Butter” (2021). J-Hope previously appeared on the show as part of BTS in 2017 and 2019.

He became the band’s first official solo career member this year, making their successful solo debut on the main stage of the Lollapalooza Music Festival in July. He is the first Korean artist to stand on the main stage in the festival’s history.

Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will be broadcast live on December 31 at 8pm ET.
