Blackpink Jisoo is gearing up to release her debut solo album, YG Entertainment said on Jan 2, 2023, Monday.
She is currently recording the song and has already finished recording the album cover and will devote her time during the world tour to its production, the company said, adding that Ji Soo will have good news to share with fans soon.
She will be the last member of the quartet to release a solo work. Jennie led the way with “Solo” in 2018, followed by Rose and Lisa in 2021 with “R” in March and “LaLisa” in September.
All three albums were hugely successful, setting YouTube music video records and debuting on the Billboard and UK charts.
