The management company announced on Dec 30, 2022, Friday that Blackpink will not be leaving the YG Entertainment label, denying a report by The Korea Herald that it would join The Black Label.

After their contract with YG Entertainment expires and ends next year, the quartet will reportedly sign with YG subsidiary The Black Label, led by producer Teddy, who has been a major supporter of the group since its debut. It added that Blackpink had completed negotiations with Black Label.

Plus, Lisa set records on Spotify with her solo song “Money.” With songs from her solo album “LaLisa,” she collected 600 million streams on the platform in 474 days, thereby reaching the milestone of a K-pop artist in a very short time. Blackpink set a previous record of 640 days with “How You Like That”. She is also the first K-pop solo artist to generate 600 million streams on Spotify.
