Blackpink’s music video “Kill This Love” has surpassed 1.7 billion views on YouTube, YG Entertainment announced on Nov 25, 2022.
It is the group’s second video to reach the milestone on the platform after the smash hit “Ddu-du Ddu-du,” making the quartet the first K-pop artist to do so.
“Kill This Love” is the title track from its EP, released in April 2019. The title track debuted at No. 41 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the album debuted at No. 24 on the Billboard 200, both records for a K-pop girl group at the time.
The band members returned to Seoul on Sunday after the North American leg of their international tour. They played 14 shows to 200,000 audiences in seven cities across the United States and Canada. Starting Monday, they will be touring Europe soon.
